Syenna Mashmasarmi serves as an Environmental Justice Liaison at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs. In this role, she supports the integration of environmental justice into agency policies and programs, working across teams to strengthen coordination, develop guidance, and build capacity on equity-related initiatives. She has over three years of experience at EEA, contributing to policy development, cross-agency collaboration, and training efforts that help state agencies better serve communities.

Syenna holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Boston College. Originally from Brockton, Massachusetts, she is passionate about ensuring that the voices of those most impacted by environmental burdens are central to decision-making and the benefits of climate action and clean energy reach all communities.
